8 click on charts for zoom image The remarkable rise of meat exports from Australia by air Total airfreight exports of meat from Australia was 74000 tonnes, an increase of 53 % in the past 6 years. Of that total, over 50% came from Melbourne and the most dramatic increases are to the Gulf region. Exports to Singapore on the other hand, the biggest destination in 2007, have dropped by over 50% in the past 6 years to becoming a minor market for meat exporters.
